About

Welcome!

We can’t wait to kick off the 2023 – 2024 season!

A quick 2022 – 2023 season recap:

Throughout the regular season, Cornell Nordic had racers on the podium nearly every weekend. At the 2023 Regional Championships, for the first time in almost 10 years, our Women’s team won the overall 1st and our Men’s team took 3rd. At the National Championships in Mammoth Lakes, CA, despite the unprecedented snowstorms and 9,000 feet of altitude, we put on a solid performance with members on both the Men’s and Women’s team getting USCSA Team All American Honors and a 4th place team finish in the Women’s 7.5k Classic.

To join our email list (list-serv), send an email to nordic-l-request@cornell.edu. The subject should be “join” and the rest of the message should be left blank.

We are Cornell’s Nordic (Cross Country) Ski Racing Club Team. Whether you are an absolute beginner, have skied for fun, or have racing experience, we are excited to have you.

In the fall, we practice at the Schoellkopf stadium (see the Training page for details). For Fall 2023, we are holding practice Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays, and Friday at 4:45 PM. Training schedules are sent out through the list-serv each week. We host a week-long training camp in Canada over winter break, followed by several weekends of racing across the northeast in the spring semester.

We are flexible, allowing you to commit the amount of time that works for you. So, if you want to have fun exercising outdoors with great people, Nordic is the club to join! Come out to a practice, email rth62@cornell.edu (Rylan) with questions, or find us at Club Fest in September.
